The center is a clean orange-and-pink cabana stripe — the calm part, and the part your tiles sit on. It's framed in a band of pure chartreuse, and then the border opens up into a full tropical garden: hibiscus, palms, spotted stems, blue and pink blooms piled on each other with no restraint whatsoever.

The stripe is what makes it playable. Without that center panel it would be too much; with it, you get a maximalist mat you can actually read tiles on. This is the summer mat, the porch mat, the one that photographs best.
